I’m a firm believer in celebrating milestones. Some would say it’s a waste of time and money but I disagree. You need to take the time to reflect and give yourself that pat on the back as your business continues to grow. As you guys know, I’m a huge supporter of mompreneurs. The birth of my son was the motivation for starting this blog as just a way to make money from home. Each year, my blog has grown and hit new milestones that continue to shock me. As rewarding as being a business owner is, it definitely comes with a whole heap of obstacles and stress. Celebrating business milestones are great motivators to keep pushing and also a time for reflection to plan for the future of your business. Keep reading if you want to find out ways to celebrate your business anniversary that’ll make great memories.

Throw A Virtual Anniversary Party

With the risk of contracting Covid-19 still posing a threat, social events aren’t really plausible at the moment. You can still celebrate your business anniversary by launching a virtual anniversary party. Apps like WhatsApp and Facetime make it easy to invite all the special people in your life to celebrate this occasion. For my son’s birthday earlier this year, we set up our house with a birthday party theme and called family members to ensure my son didn’t feel left out due to Covid-19 restrictions. Don’t be afraid to decorate your home or office to pop some champagne on a family video call. We might have to get creative with Covid-19 but there is still a way to celebrate the milestones in your life.

Commemorative Plaques and Trophies

Launching a successful business is far from easy. Actually reaching an anniversary is a huge milestone for your business and shouldn’t be overlooked. Before Covid, it was amazing to have a successful business due to the high percentage of failed businesses. After the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s definitely a miracle to manage a successful business in these trying times. As over the top as it may seem, I definitely recommend customizing commemorative plaques and trophies to celebrate the occasion. Major corporations like banks are known to provide commemorative plaques, trophies, and accessories for their employees for employment anniversaries. You deserve nothing less, if not more, for running a successful business.

“Ways To Celebrate Your Business Anniversary” Recap

I’ve been blogging as a “business” for about four years now. I can’t count the number of mistakes on my hands if that tells you anything about how it’s been. But, the joy I get knowing that I’ve created something out of nothing is compared to nothing else. Well, maybe being a mom haha. My point is that running a business is hard but definitely worth it. Make sure however you celebrate your business anniversary that you take the time to celebrate it and reflect on the past year. You deserve it!
