1st Day of School Outfit For Boys In Pre-K & Kindergarten
We are finally in the middle of the back to school season. Thankfully, Dominic hasn’t hit the years where I have to deal with the back to school chaos. This doesn’t mean I don’t wish we could have back to school style for toddlers. That’s an idea right? How about all the toddler moms get together and have a 1st day of school get together? Mamas get to sip wine while the kids have a playdate in their new back to school wear. Sounds about right with me. Until then, I’ve put together this adorable 1st day of school outfit for boys.

This outfit was inspired by Dominic’s new sneakers from Gymboree. These burgundy camoflauge kicks were calling my name ever since I came across them on the Gymboree website. If you’ve been keeping up with the blog, you’d know I recently did a collaboration with Gymboree and their new back to school collection. Trust me. You’ll want to take a glimpse at it if you haven’t already. Picture everything you loved about the 70s and vintage clothes with a modern twist.

I’m pretty sure Dominic was annoyed in this picture because he was finally over Mommy being a photographer. We had just finished filming his rainy day outfit and I was so determined to get a few looks in before we called it a day. Result? Dominic running down the street with an attitude while I try to capture his 1st day of school outfit look.
Here’s a tip for my fellow blogger moms. Take your blog pictures before nap time if you want to avoid the craziness I had to deal with for this 1st day of school outfit blog post. Never again! haha!

Really quick story… So, there’s this tree in front of my house that has been a pain in my butt since it bloomed. The tree drops these little green leaves ( I use this word loosely as I have no clue what it actually it. Pollen, maybe?) that gets EVERYWHERE! As you can see in the picture above, I am not exagerrating. We end up tracking it into the house, it gets in and on my car, and our block is completely covered in it. God forbid it rains and suddenly my car turns into a rainforest with these pollen leaves in every crevice welcoming critters. Rant over. This tree actually ended up coming in handy with all of its fallen pollen because it made an AMAZING backdrop for Dominic’s 1st day of school outfit pictures. Who would have thought? Definitely not me.
