Taty’s Travel Diary: Dumbo, Brooklyn
Alright. Let’s get down to the first Taty’s travel diary.
Dom and I were able to visit Dumbo, Brooklyn earlier this week and absolutely loved it. I’ve gone when I was younger with my family. This was Dom’s first time and he loved it!

Are you wondering when we started talking about Disney’s Dumbo? <—- insert weird corny joke to explain Dumbo. haha! Bear with me ladies.
Dumbo literally means Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. It’s an amazing neighborhood overlooking the water filled with a bunch of amazing eats and architecture, with a great community. During the summertime, I’d definitely say that Dumbo, Brooklyn is a NYC hot spot. Just this week, there was a carousel set up or the family. You never know what you’ll stumble upon when visiting Dumbo, Brooklyn.

Fun fact about me: I used to work at a Planetarium during my undergraduate years. Ever since I’ve been super interested in anything star related. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to take a cool snapshot in front of this awesome galaxy backdrop.
BTW: Doesn’t Dom look absolutely adorable??! Where’s the kid model agencies when you need them? Yoohoo! I have a star in the making. Haha!!

Looks like you two had fun exploring Dumbo! I laughed when you talked about your son’s energy. My two-year-old daughter is the same way, but it doesn’t matter what I do I can’t seem to wear her out.
I have always wanted to go there, looks so beautiful and fun!
Someone else had just posted about Dumbo on Instagram and I was super confused. It is beautiful there, and I’m going to make sure to visit when I go to Brooklyn next!
