Actually, ladies is probably more accurate. haha!
I was serious when I told you in my last post that I was going to create more content on a consistent basis. Now that I did a Fall fashion post, it was time to do a makeup post. Now that I’m thinking about it, it’d probably be easier if I do one category each time I post. Then, I won’t have to worry about missing anything. Right? Hmmm, that’s what a smart person would do. LOL
Warm Fall Makeup Look For Dark Skin
Anywhoooo, enough of my wandering train of thought. I’ve been getting so much better at doing my makeup. I finally learned how to do false eyelashes after years of doing my makeup and struggling to make mascara give me all the volume I need. I can finally do eyelashes! Now, there’s no stopping me!
I was mostly inspired by this orange color on one of my new eye shadow palettes. I don’t even remember buying it. That says a lot about how much I have been shopping lately. Shhh! The eyeshadow color that I fell in love with is like this burnt orange which is perfect for the Fall.

I know what you’re probably thinking.
“Taty, how in the world did you end up with a pink lip?”
Well that’s what my mom was thinking when I sent her the rough draft of the pictures.
Look, I always need a pop of color somewhere. Can’t you tell by my background flowers that I definitely have a thing for bright colors. Luckily for me, this dark pink lip did my eye makeup justice.
My favorite part of this shoot was my new hairstyle! I absolutely love versatility. Being natural allows me to change my hairstyle all the time. And y’all, I’m not afraid to try something new. Can you guess that this was a $20 wig from the beauty store?!! To say it was money well spent would be an understatement.
Fun fact about me: I actually used to wear my hair straight with the same exact highlights in college for a few years. I let the color grow back then never felt like sitting in the salon to redo the style. I just may have to try that again.
