I’ve been racking my brain to think about a new fall drink I wanted to introduce for the blog. A couple of years back, I worked on an apple sangria recipe that all of my friends love to this day. Sangria was so tempting to try again but I wanted to try something new. This is how I landed on today’s drink– a fall rum punch recipe.

I’m currently visiting my in-laws in Vegas. So, it was only right that I try it out with them. Thankfully, they love a good cocktail as much as I do LOL.  If you’re looking for an easy fall drink recipe that taste like fall for your next party, after work drink, or date night, you’re in the right place. It’s easy, really good, and a perfect blend of seasonal flavors.

Let’s get started!!!!

I chose these adorable fall cups while shopping in Target the other day. Can you believe these Target wine glasses were only $3 for two??! Well worth the money in my opinion. These definitely put me in the fall spirit. Unfortunately, I can’t find these cups anywhere online. If you’re near a Target and want to just stop by to pick these bad boys up, I’m sure they’d be in the front of the store with the rest of the fall decor.

I chose another set of cute stemless wine glasses that’d be perfect for fall. It’s a rose gold wine glass that I know I’d purchase in a heartbeat.

GARNISH

Once you get out your wine glasses ( or whatever kind of glasses you choose), you can start the garnish for your fall rum punch.

I dipped my finger in coconut oil and slid it around the rim of my wine glass. It’s nothing special about choosing coconut oil. Water alone wasn’t working to pick up the brown sugar so I just chose whatever we had in the house.

Next, pour some brown sugar on a surface such as a plate, board, or whatever you have handy. Take your oil rimmed glass and flip it over to ensure the rim is fully covered by brown sugar.  When you turn it back over, your rim should like similar to mine above.

Feel free to add slides of apples to the rim as I did above just to feel a bit fancy LOL.

Use a blender or pitcher to mix your fall rum punch. Honestly, anything larger than a cup is good enough. Since the serving size isn’t for only one glass, you need something large enough to hold all of the ingredients.

  1. Add the cranberry apple juice and apple cider ingredients into the blender.
  2. Add the Bacardi Gold ( or your choice of rum) to the blender.
  3. Place one or two dashes of cinnamon to the blender.
  4. Cover and mix the blender on low for a few seconds. If you’re not using a blender, take a large spoon and mix all the ingredients together.
  5.  Pour the drink over ice into your garnished wine glass. If ice is not available, chill for a few minutes in the freezer as the drink tastes amazing chilled.
  6. Enjoy and don’t forget to drink responsibly!
